Employee fractures arm when caught in pulley

On July 9, 2003, Employee #1 of Kaprielian Brothers was walking toward the conveyor, which was in use at the Compact Line. Employee #1 either slipped or tripped and put his hands out to stop his fall. Employee #1's right arm went into an unguarded area of the belt conveyor and his arm was pulled into the pulley. Employee #1 sustained fractures of his right arm. He was taken to the emergency room in Reedley, California for treatment and then to Clovis Community Hospital.
