Employee's finger tears off when ring catches on truck

On August 22, 1994, Employee #1, a stocker/scrapper for Service Lathing, drove to a job site in Clayton in a Ford flatbed truck to pick up scrap materials left there by the lathing crew. At around 1:30 p.m., he finished loading the truck and replacing the flatbed removable wall panels. When he jumped off the truck, his left ring finger was caught and torn off.
