Employee Fractures Elbow and Hip in Fall from Roof

A farm worker was repairing a roof when he stepped on a 50-millimeter by 150-millimeter board. The board broke, causing the employee to fall 4.3 meters. The injured employee was transported to a hospital. He was hospitalized for 4 days for his injuries, which included a shattered left elbow and a fracture of the left hip.
