Employee is injured after dropping ink pump

On May 15, 2002, Employee #1 was in the print shop area cleaning the ink pump when the unit slipped from his grasp. As he attempted to catch it, the pump landed on his right fourth finger, pinching it against the bottom of the solvent tank. The tip of his finger was amputated.
