Employee Suffers Amputation Using Miter Saw

Employee #1 was chopping 1 in. by 6 in. lengths of wood on a miter saw. The saw was properly guarded. Employee #1's hand slipped while cutting the wood and the blade struck his finger. Employee #1 was treated for his injury but was not hospitalized.
