Investigation Summary
On October 17, 2006, an employee was cleaning up wood shavings around the machine. He was watching the machine and decided to put his hand into the machine around the guard to get loose wood shavings. He reached into the machine and his hand hit the cut off blade and amputated his finger tip. He was taken to Selma District Hospital for treatment which is located in Selma, California. However, he was not hospitalized.
