Investigation Summary
On May 30, 2002, Employee #1 was installing windows on a single family two-story home being built. Employee #1 was working on the inside of the second floor installing a window. Employee #1 nailed the window in place and then put his leg on a 2-in. by 4-in. frame piece in order tape the window. The 2-in. by 4-in. frame piece broke in half which caused Employee #1 to fall approximately 12 ft. Employee #1 suffered broken ribs and was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
