Employee Fractures Arm Cleaning Unguarded Conveyor Belt

On June 16, 2005, a temporary agency employee was working for a nut processing company, and was assigned to clean an unguarded conveyor belt. As the employee was cleaning the running conveyor belt her hand became caught in the pulley. The employee sustained a fractured arm and was hospitalized.
