Employees foot crushed between pillar and lift truck

At approximately 2:20 p.m. on July 17, 1999, Employee #1 was driving a Crown Stand Up lift truck going south on the receiving dock in Building Number 2. Employee #1 unloaded a batch of empty wooden pallets and approached receiving line Number 301. He lost control and struck a pillar. Employee #1's left foot was caught between the lift truck and the pillar crushing his left foot. He was hospitalized.
