Employee injured in fall from trailer truck

At approximately 8:40 a.m. on November 10, 1994, Employee #1 was at a recycling facility in Lake Elsinore, CA, loading and securing the load on a semi-trailer truck used to transport recycled wood to cogenerating facilities. The load consisted of ground-up scrap wood and tree trimmings that are burned to produce electric power. Employee #1 was smoothing out the load and stretching a tarpaulin over it when he lost his balance and fell from the top of the truck to the ground. He sustained injuries to his head, neck, and chest.
