Employee suffers chemical burns when cleaning

At approximately 5:45 a.m. on May 11, 1995, Employee #1, a full-time employee for Technicolor, Inc., which develops and processes negative and positive film for the movie industry, was washing the bleach tank on the negative development processing machine #3. He set a bucket down hard on the floor. The bucket contained caustic sodium hydroxide chemical solution, which splashed on his left leg. He suffered second- and third-degree burns on his left foot and shin, and was hospitalized.
