Employee Falls from Ladder

On April 1, 2005, Employee # 1 was rearranging some tires on a high shelf of a mechanics shop when the ladder he was standing on slipped out from under him. As Employee #1 fell approximately 7 ft, and hit the handle of a floor jack that was sticking up. The ladder was defective and it did not have non-skid feet. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for injuries to his lungs and rib cage.
