Employee amputates two fingertips in unguarded machinery

At approximately 11:50 a.m. on January 14, 2003, an employee of Warnock Food Products was changing the code dates on a seamer machine when her left hand contacted the unguarded moving parts of the machinery. The employee amputated two fingertips and was taken to Madera Community Hospital, Madera, California where she was admitted for treatment.
