Employee Burns Hand on Moving Conveyor Belt

Approximately 5:30 p.m., on July 9, 2002, Employee #1, of Pyramid Produce Inc., was sorting potatoes. The employee reached underneath the moving conveyor belt, and the employee's left hand was caught between the roller and the conveyor belt. Employee #1 sustained friction burns to her hand and fingers and was taken via ambulance to a private medical doctor for treatment.
