Employee injured in fall when ladder slips out

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 30, 2000, Employee #1, of the Harris Ranch Beef Company, was on a 12 ft portable ladder when the ladder slipped out from underneath him. Employee #1 fell onto the floor, fracturing several ribs and his left knee. He was transported by ambulance to Selma District Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
