Employee's finger partially amputated by shotgun blast

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on September 3, 1997, Employee #1 was using a shotgun to control birds. He was setting doen the gun when it discharged. The bullet struck his little finger, partially amputating it. Employee #1 was transported by private vehicle to Coalinga Regional Medical Center, Coalinga, CA, where he was admitted for treatment.
