Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:10 a.m. on April 27, 2001, a truck driver sustained a fractured left leg while attempting to load a vibratory compactor onto a flat bed trailer at the employer's equipment storage yard. The injury occurred when the vibratory compactor slid from the trailer and rolled over and struck the employee. The injured employee was transported by paramedics to a hospital where he was treated and hospitalized for five days.
