Employee's fingertip cut by table saw

At about 11:30 a.m. on February 4, 1993, Employee #1, a carpenter for Greg Baxter, was renovating a residential house in Sherman Oaks, CA. While cutting a piece of wood at a 45 degree angle on a Makita table saw, Employee #1 cut his left fingertip. The employee was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to Sherman Oaks Medical Center, where he was given proper treatment.
