Employee breaks leg in fall from ladder

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on October 13, 1992, Employee #1, a 47-year-old parking attendant at Universal Studios, was cleaning the glass block of a condiment stand. As he climbed an 8 ft stepladder, which was resting diagonally on the condiment stand, the aluminum ladder slid out from beneath him, and he fell approximately 4 ft. Employee #1 was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he was treated for a leg fracture and kept for observation.
