Employee uninjured when forklift basket falls over slowly

At 8:45 a.m. on November 12, 1993, Employee #1 was in a forklift man basket, painting a wall. The forklift driver had positioned the vehicle on uneven ground. When the forks were raised, the forklift's balance changed, and the forklift--and basket--slowly tipped over and came down on a landing dock, then the ground. Because the operator had pushed the forklift basket against the wall and the tires against the sidewalk, the forklift tipped over slowly instead of suddenly. Employee #1 was not injured. Citation issued: 3645(a).
