Employee injured in fall while exiting scaffold onto ladder

At 9:30 a.m. on September 8, 1994, Employee #1 was standing on a 4 ft 10 in. high scaffold doing pick-up framing on a small soffitt area that was at about head height. While exiting the scaffold, he stepped onto an aluminum stepladder, slipped, and fell, landing on his back. Emergency 911 was called, and Employee #1 was transported to Ojai Valley Hospital. He was wearing a safety belt and a hard hat at the time of the accident.
