EMPLOYEE #1 WAS PULLING PUMPING RODS FROM A NON-PRODUCING OIL WELL WHEN TRAPPED GASES UNDER PRESSURE BLEW OUT OF THE WELL. IN AN EFFORT TO ESCAPE, HE TRIPPED OVER A HORIZONTAL FEED LINE, BREAKING HIS LEFT LEG AND INJURING HIS RIBS. EMPLOYEE #1 WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR 9 DAYS.
