Employee's fingertip amputated when caught between cylinders

Employee #1, of Coast Converters, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, was operating a six-color Flexographic printing press. The plate was dirty, and Employee #1 tried to clean the plate cylinder while the press was moving, using a small, handleless wire brush. His gloved right hand was pulled between the plate cylinder and the analog cylinder, partially amputating portions of his right middle and ring fingers.
