Employee injured in fall from roof

Employee #1, a helper, was getting sheet metal from a stack of roofing materials, carrying it to the roof edge, and laying it in place to be anchored by iron workers. As he was placing a sheet, he pivoted on a support member, lost his balance, and fell backward to the second-story floor. Employee #1 sustained multiple fractures and internal injuries.
