Employee's arm fractured when caught by rollers

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on August 7, 1994, Employee #1, age 18, was using a brush to clean a glue spreader when his right hand became caught by the unguarded rollers. His arm was pulled in up to his elbow, and he sustained multiple fractures. Employee #1 was taken to Martin Luther King Hospital for treatment and follow-up as an outpatient.
