Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was a choker setter for Crowman Corp., a helicopter logging company. His job was to hook chokers to logs and then to the hook on the helicopter for removal from the forest. Employee #1 was holding several choker nubbins and watching the helicopter lower the hook when the top came out of a snag approximately 25 ft behind him. The snag top struck him on the head. He died.
