Employee's finger cut by saw

Employee #1, a grader in a millwork plant, was preparing to cut to length some stickers for a unit of wood when someone yelled. She turned to look over her right shoulder to see who was yelling. Her leg bumped the saw switch and activated the saw, causing it to jump up. At the same time, her right hand went under the guard. Employee #1's right middle finger was struck by the saw, amputating the tip. Employee #1 attributes her accident to inattention and to the fact that she was hurrying. The saw is properly guarded and in good condition with no known deficiencies.
