Employee injured in fall from unsecured beam

Employee #1, of Shoreline Builders, was attempting to secure some beams to a joist at the second joist of a second floor balcony. He was nailing wooden strips to the beams on both ends so that they would stay in place while hangers were being attached. Apparently, he stepped on one of these unsecured beams and fell to the floor. His right foot was fractured.
