Carpenter falls from roof and breaks his leg

On November 19,1993, Employee #1 of Carlton Homes, in Santa Rosa, CA, was finishing a roofing job on a house under construction in Windsor, CA. He climbed out of a window on the second floor onto the sloped roof, took about two steps, and slipped on the frost that was on the waferboard roof. He slid down and off the eaves that were 11 feet above the ground, breaking his left leg. He was transported to Healdsburg General Hospital. Employee #1 has worked as a carpenter for 18 years and with the Carlton Homes Company for 2 years.
