Employee breaks both legs in fall from roof

Employee #1 was demolishing an old ammonia cooling tower and its pump components on the roof of a cannery. He lost his balance while throwing the pump off the roof and fell approximately 15 ft 6 in., breaking both legs. He was hospitalized.
