Employee injures ankle and foot while using fork lift

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on October 7, 2003, an employee working as a Warehouseman received fractured left heel when forklift overturned. The employee was loading a truck with a Nissan forklift equipped with a clamp attachment. The employee loaded a empty wooden pallet over the top of a rail truck approximately 12 feet in height, closed the clamp a couple of inches, drove in reversed with the clamp fully extended approximately 10 to 15 feet away, made a sharp right turn causing the forklift to tipped over, the employee took off his seat belt and attempted to jump clear of the forklift, the overhead guard pinned his foot and ankle to the pavement.
