Employee Killed In Fall From Balcony

Employee #1 was found dead at approximately 6:55 p.m. on December 19, 2000, by janitorial worker picking up trash on the outside of the building. Employee #1 was found on a concrete walkway (approximately 9-to-10-ft from the building wall), 17 ft below the balcony concrete walkway, with a 42-in. concrete wall acting as a guardrail around the perimeter of the second floor walkway. Witnesses last saw Employee #1 standing next to the concrete guardrail. No witnesses saw Employee #1 fall. The local police are investigating the accident as a possible suicide.
