Employee injured when arm caught by rollers

Employee #1 was sitting on the floor, cleaning scrap rubber out of a water line machine at the end of a work shift. He moved a guard and had put his gloved hand between the belt and roller when his glove became caught. The roller pulled his hand and arm into the machine's gears, resulting in injuries that required hospitalization. Employee #1 failed to turn off the machine before cleaning it.
