At approximately 8:00 a.m. on May 5, 1999, a plumber with approximately 8 months of experience was injured. The bed of a Ford F150 4 by 4 pick-up truck had been loaded with lumber that was to be transported to another location. The employee stepped from in between a dumpster and a van into the passing truck of lumber. The lumber struck him in the chest, knocking him 360 degrees onto the ground. The employee was transported for medical treatment.
