EMPLOYEES HAND INJURED IN PRINTING PRESS

Employee #1, a journeyman pressman with 17 years experience, was working with the printing presses. At least 4 to5 times daily the sheet is lost requiring it to be brought back through the rollers. Employee #1 was attempting to bring the sheet back down to the former, when his hand contacted a roller which put his hand up against the former's edge. Employee #1 received a non-hospitalizing, non-disfiguring de-gloving of a layer of skin from the thumb and palm of his right hand.
