Employee is hospitalized with severe lacerations to his arm

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on June 14, 2003, an employee of Tali Pak Lumber Mill was cutting lumber with a trim saw. The saw kicked back and struck him on his arm when he tried to cut two pieces of lumber simultaneously. He severely cut his upper right arm. The saw was a "Hula" type swing saw with a 14-inch blade. A Dayton 2 HP motor, Serial Number C01-AC69A-M, powered the saw.
