ELEVEN EMPLOYEES INJURED WHEN DECK COLLAPSES WITH DEBRIS

At 8:10 a.m. on October14, 1989, Employees #1- #11, contractors, were involved in the process of pouring concrete on an elevator slab at the Toffee Terrace in Atlanta, GA. The deck collapsed with debris such as pans, lumber, plywood, etc., striking employees. Employees working on top of the 14-ft-high slab fell to the ground when the collapse occurred. Eleven employees were injured.
