Employee dies of apparent heart failure

At approximately 7:28 a.m. on April 5, 1999, Employee #1, arriving in the parking lot of his workplace, told a coworker that he did not feel well. When he reached his work station at 7:30 a.m., he repeated that did not feel well. Between 7:30 a.m. and 7:35 a.m., a coworker asked him about his health and accompanied him to the dressing area, where Employee #1 lay down on a bench. He was questioned about any aches and pains and, at 8:30 a.m., was taken to Valley General Hospital. At approximately 10:00 a.m., Employee #1 died. The medical examiner's diagnosis was arterial sclerosis and cardiovascular disease.
