Employee killed when struck by train at crossing

Employee #1 was clearing brush along a railroad right-of-way. He went to lunch driving a John Deere log skidder, model 440D. Employee #1 was crossing the railroad tracks at a private rural crossing when he was hit by a train and killed. There were no objects nearby that would have obstructed his vision.
