Employee's hand crushed in dough divider

At 2:30 p.m. on November 15, 1990, Employee #1, a baker, was removing dough particles from a Benler dough divider, serial #5578/4, while the machine was running. His hand became stuck and was crushed between the divider head and the chute connector, and was crushed. Employee #1 was transported to St. John's Hospital, where he was treated and released.
