Employee's leg lacerated by hand saw

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on July 26, 1990, Employee #1 was using a portable, power-driven hand saw to cut a 4 in. wide strip from a 4 ft wide piece of 1/2 in. plywood. He suffered a cut on his right leg that required stitches to close. The saw's guard was wedged back with a nail.
