Employee injured in fall from ladder

At approximately 12:21 p.m. on April 27, 1992, Employee #1 climbed a 10 ft aluminum ladder to patch around the bolts on the south wall of a frame manufacturing building. As he reached for his tools, he twisted his body, lost his balance, and fell down with the ladder. He landed on top of a wood frame next to him. Employee #1 sustained abrasions on his chest, back, and arm. He was taken to USC County Medical Center and hospitalized. He is now being treated as an outpatient. A citation was issued to the employer ordering necessary corrections.
