Employee's finger partially amputated by wood shaper

At about 2:30 p.m. on January 7, 1993, Employee #1 was cutting a piece of wood on shaper #1, which was equipped with a guard, when his right hand slipped and went into the wood shaper's cutting head. Employee #1's little and ring fingers were partially amputated. He was taken to Simi Valley Adventist Hospital by paramedic ambulance.
