Employee hospitalized after falling when rope breaks

At about 8:30 a.m. on January 16, 1992, Employee #1, of Douglas Aircraft Co., alleges that she was attempting to pull a pallet when the rope broke, causing her to lose her balance and fall backward. There were no witnesses. The leadman transported Employee #1 to the company dispensary, from where she was transported to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center for observation.
