Two employees injured when run over by forklift

At approximately 8:15 a.m. on October 11, 1990, Employee #1, age 19, and a janitor were conversing outside the shipping department office on the northwest side of the warehouse. They were run over by a coworker operating a Taylor forklift truck in driveway #3 at storage bay #1, near the office. Employee #1's left leg was amputated at the upper thigh and her right foot was crushed. The janitor also suffered a crushed right foot. They were transported to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, in Carbon, CA.
