Employee's arm injured in conveyor

Employee #1, a supervisor at Castro Brothers, Inc., a date packaging firm, was working in the grading room when the conveyor that lifted the graded dates to the storage boxes became jammed and stopped. She attempted to restart the belt by pulling it. The conveyor, which was not deenergized, restarted, and her left arm was crushed between the belt and the tail pulley.
