Employee's leg fractured when work platform collapses

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on July 5, 1999, Employee #1 was working from an elevated work platform that was attached to a forklift truck when the mast malfunctioned, causing the platform to fall. Employee #1 fractured his lower leg and was taken to Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, CA, where he was admitted for treatment.
