Investigation Summary
At about 12:30 p.m. on February 24, 1994, Employee #1, of William Bolthouse Farms, Inc., was attempting to install PVC piping on the carrot sizer machine while it was running. His glove was caught between the rollers, pulling his hand and arm into the moving rollers. The employee sustained trauma to his right arm, for which he was hospitalized at Memorial Hospital, Bakersfield.
