Investigation Nr: 170813034
Event: 11/28/1994
Employee killed between yard tractor and trailer

At approximately 8:25 p.m. on November 28, 1994, Employee #1, of Parsec, was working at the Southern Pacific Railroad Terminal in Fresno, CA. He was riding behind the cab of a 1988 capacity Trailer Jockey yard tractor that was being driven by a coworker. They were spotting trailers to load them onto a railcar. A trailer separated from the tractor and the momentum of the trailer allowed it to run into the cab. It struck and crushed Employee #1, killing him.
