Employee's eye injured when struck by flying plastic chip

Employee #1 was using a pneumatic nail gun to repair pallets when he was struck in the left eye by a piece of the plastic casing that surrounded the nails. He later stated that his safety goggles had became fogged, so he raised them onto his forehead to continue nailing.
